Rock of Ages
Rock of Ages,
you have laid down atoms in such amazing patterns that molecules, laid layer upon layer, manage to become mountains. Turn our eyes toward your majesty hidden in the macro so we may catch a glimpse of your sparkling grace wherever we may look, whether toward the lake's blue horizon or the swirling whorls on our finger tips. We ask this in the name of the one who said we could dare ask, in the power of the Spirit who prompts our prayers, one Holy Absolute Mystery forever and ever. Amen. |
